The engines aren’t fired yet — but you can feel it coming.
The SMASH HQ iRacing League is just days away from its Season 1 opener, and everything is lining up for a full weekend of competitive racing.
This isn’t practice anymore.
This is the countdown to green.
Opening Weekend Schedule
Season 1 officially kicks off this weekend with a stacked, three-series lineup:
Friday Night — Craftsman Truck Series The first green flag of the season drops here. Tight packs, aggressive racing, and now — live broadcast coverage.
Saturday — O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Where consistency starts to matter. Drivers who can manage tires, lines, and pressure will rise.
Saturday Night — SMASH Cup Series The main event. The fastest cars, the highest expectations, and where the best drivers will separate themselves.
Race Format Locked In
The league has finalized a race format designed to keep events competitive, strategic, and broadcast-friendly.
Most races will fall in the 100–150 mile range, creating:

The season builds toward a 150-mile championship race at Darlington, where it will all be decided.
