The East Coast Truck Series All-Star Race is getting closer, and the picture is starting to come into focus.
Confirmed drivers are beginning to lock into the field, fan voting is active, and Atlanta is shaping up to host one of the biggest special events of the season.
But there is still work to do.
If you are one of the drivers already eligible for the All-Star Race, the message is simple:
You must confirm your spot.
If a driver does not confirm and still shows up on race night, they will be removed from the session. This event is being organized around a confirmed roster, and the field needs to be finalized the right way before the green flag ever drops.
Top 20 Officially Invited
The Top 20 in current points are officially invited to the big show.
If your name is on this list, you have earned your spot — but there is a catch:
You must confirm.
The Top 20 currently invited are:
Jonny Rapp
Randy Bechdel
Braxton DeWeese
Mike Springer
Jay Szala
Johnny Bobby Brown
Matthew Toudouze
Trevor Brownlee
Jeffrey Parker
Jacob Phillips
Austin Gum
Daryl Griffin
Darren T Vale
Jesse R Sampson
Steve Vest
Shane Marcum
Dillon Canova
Patrick Hernandez
Scott Drost
Adrian De Leon
That invitation gets you in the conversation.
It does not lock your spot unless you confirm.
Confirmed Drivers So Far
The following drivers are officially confirmed in for the East Coast Truck Series All-Star Race:
Adrian De Leon — #12
Austin Gum — #6
Johnny Bobby Brown — #88
Patrick Hernandez — #91
Braxton DeWeese — #15
Daryl Griffin — #4
Shane Marcum — #47
Matthew Toudouze — #67
Dillon Canova — #70
Jay Szala — #85
Jesse Sampson — #10
These drivers have taken care of business and secured their place on the current roster.
Confirmed Out
At least one invited driver has already confirmed they will not be competing:
Trevor Brownlee — #75
That creates even more attention around the remaining open spots, especially with fan voting still active and more announcements still to come.
Current Fan Vote Standings
There are currently five fan vote spots available for the All-Star Race, and the voting race is already taking shape.
Here is the current fan vote count:
Lee Richardson — 5
Ian Blanchard — 3
Jeffrey Stanton — 2
Joe Davide — 2
Cody O'Connor — 1
Michael Kish — 1
Kyzer Riddel — 1
Jacob Szala — 1
With five positions open, every vote matters.
Drivers campaigning for those final spots are still very much alive, and movement in the standings is still possible before voting closes.
More Than Five May Still Get In
While the official fan vote remains set at five open positions, there may still be more to come.
S.M.A.S.H iRacing is currently hinting at a possible round of two wild cards. Nothing is final yet, and full details are not ready to be released, but there is serious consideration being given to drivers who have put real effort into campaigning and pushing to earn their place in the show.
That means the door may not be completely closed after the fan vote.
For drivers working hard to build support, that effort is being noticed.
Why Confirmation Matters
This is not a regular weekly points race.
The All-Star Race is a featured event, a non-points special, and a race with money, visibility, and bragging rights attached to it. That means the roster has to be tight and the session has to be clean before race night.
If you are eligible, confirm.
If you want in on the fan vote, campaign.
If you are still on the outside looking in, keep pushing — because the full field may not be finished yet.
Final Word
The All-Star Race is coming together, but the roster is still moving.
Confirmed drivers are starting to separate from the rest. The fan vote battle is active. And with the possibility of two wild cards still hanging in the air, Atlanta may still have a few surprises left before the final lineup is complete.
If you are on the eligible list and have not confirmed yet, now is the time.
Because once the field is finalized, anyone who did not lock in their spot may be watching instead of racing.
