S.M.A.S.H iRacing: Championship Weekend Arrives as We Prepare for The Biggest Week Yet

By S.M.A.S.H — June 10, 2026

This is the week everything comes together.

After a full season of racing, battles, points swings, hard lessons, and big moments, S.M.A.S.H heads into Championship Weekend for the Challenger Truck Series, East Coast Truck Series, O’Reilly Series, and Cup Series.

Four series.

Four final races.

Four championships on the line.

And when the weekend closes, S.M.A.S.H immediately turns the page into something brand new as the Super Late Model Series makes its official debut Sunday night.

This is not just another race week.

This is one of the biggest weekends in S.M.A.S.H history.

Four Series. One Championship Weekend.

The pressure is real now.

Every driver who has shown up, put in the laps, fought through rough nights, and stayed in the battle has reached the final stretch. There is no more “next week” to fix a mistake. No more time to recover from a bad finish. No more room to leave points on the table.

This weekend is where seasons are finished.

For the Challenger Truck Series, the final race is another chance for developing drivers to show how far they have come. Challenger has been about growth, racecraft, and proving who is ready to keep climbing inside S.M.A.S.H.

For the East Coast Truck Series, the championship fight has been one of the biggest stories in the league. The trucks have delivered strong fields, tough battles, and some of the most competitive racing of the season.

For the O’Reilly Series, the final race brings another test of execution. Drivers have had to manage speed, patience, and consistency all season, and now it comes down to one final night.

For the Cup Series, the pressure is always different. The cars are tougher, the mistakes are bigger, and the championship stage demands focus from start to finish.

Each series has its own story.

This weekend writes the final chapter.

What Championship Weekend Means

Championship Weekend is different.

Drivers can feel it.

The points battle is tighter. The restarts matter more. Track position matters more. Patience matters more. Every decision carries weight because every position can change the final outcome.

Some drivers are racing for championships.

Some are racing for top-five finishes.

Some are racing to end the season with momentum.

Some are racing to prove they belong moving forward.

That is what makes this weekend important from top to bottom. It is not only about who leaves with the trophy. It is about who shows up when the pressure is highest.

S.M.A.S.H has been built around Integrity • Respect • Competition, and Championship Weekend will test all three.

Race hard.

Race smart.

Respect the drivers around you.

Finish the season the right way.

A New Chapter Starts Sunday

Once Championship Weekend wraps up, S.M.A.S.H does not slow down.

On Sunday night, the league makes history with the first-ever race for the

S.M.A.S.H Super Late Model Series.

The new series opens at South Boston Speedway with a 75-lap feature, bringing Sunday night asphalt short-track racing into the S.M.A.S.H lineup.

Super Late Model Series

Round 1 — South Boston Speedway

Sunday, June 14, 2026

75 Laps

Practice: 7:30 PM ET

Qualifying: 8:25 PM ET

Race: 8:30 PM ET

The Super Late Models will bring a different kind of racing to the league. These cars will demand throttle control, patience, tire management, and clean short-track racecraft.

They are not trucks.

They are not O’Reilly cars.

They are not Cup cars.

They are their own challenge, and Sunday night will be the first chance for drivers to make their mark in a brand-new S.M.A.S.H division.

One Weekend, Two Big Moments

This week is special because it brings both an ending and a beginning.

Championship Weekend closes out the season for four series.

The Super Late Model Series opens a brand-new chapter.

That is a major moment for the league.

S.M.A.S.H continues to grow, but growth only matters when it adds something real. This weekend does that. It gives the league championship pressure, final-race drama, and a new Sunday night series all in the same stretch.

For the drivers, this is the kind of week that matters.

For the league, this is the kind of week that shows how far things have come.

Final Word

Championship Weekend is here.

The Challenger Truck Series, East Coast Truck Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and Cup Series all head into their final race with everything on the line.

Then Sunday night, the Super Late Models make their first official start at South Boston Speedway.

Four championships.

One brand-new series.

One massive week for S.M.A.S.H.

The pressure is real.

The stage is set.

And now it is time to finish the season the right way.
