By SMASH HQ — March 11, 2026

With the start of the inaugural S.M.A.S.H iRacing League season just over a week away, the SMASH HQ team has been hard at work behind the scenes preparing the infrastructure for what is shaping up to be an exciting launch.

S.M.A.S.H — Sim Motorsports Association Series of Horsepower — was created with a simple goal: build a competitive and structured league environment for iRacing drivers who want organized racing without sacrificing their weekend schedule.

As opening night approaches, several major updates have already been rolled out across the SMASH HQ platform.

League Season Begins Soon

Season 1 of the SMASH HQ iRacing League will feature three different series competing across a 12-race season.

The schedule is designed to give drivers consistent weekend competition while still allowing flexibility for those with busy weekday schedules.

Major Website Updates

Over the past week, the SMASH HQ website has seen several major improvements designed to support the league as it grows.

New features now live include:

• Official race schedule page

• Race countdown widgets on the homepage

• League sponsor placements

• Dedicated news section for league updates

Additional pages for driver profiles, points standings, and league coverage are currently being expanded as the season approaches.

These updates are part of the long-term vision to make SMASH HQ more than just a league — but a complete hub for sim racing competition and community.

Broadcast Coverage Planned

Several races throughout the season will also be broadcast live on a well-known YouTube channel, giving fans and drivers an opportunity to experience the league in a more professional broadcast environment.

Broadcast coverage will add another layer of excitement as drivers compete not only for wins and points, but also for exposure in front of a live audience.

More details on broadcast races will be announced soon.

Drivers Still Welcome

With the season fast approaching, driver signups remain open as the league finalizes its inaugural grids.

The SMASH HQ community is continuing to grow as new drivers, moderators, and supporters join the project.

Those interested in competing or following the league can join the official community Discord.

Looking Ahead

Opening night for Season 1 is quickly approaching, and momentum around the SMASH HQ iRacing League continues to build.

With a growing driver roster, expanding website features, and broadcast racing on the horizon, the league is positioned to become a strong new destination for competitive weekend sim racing.

More updates will be released as the green flag for Season 1 draws closer.
