SMASH Launches the Sim Motorsports Association Series of Horsepower

By SMASH HQ - February 16, 2026

SMASH HQ is expanding.

We’ve built Rust servers. We’ve built community events.

Now it’s time to build a sanctioned sim racing league.

Introducing the

Sim Motorsports Association Series of Horsepower (SMASH)

Our official competitive iRacing championship.

This isn’t random officials.

This is organized competition.

What Is the SMASH Series of Horsepower?

The Sim Motorsports Association Series of Horsepower is a structured weekly iRacing league focused on:

• Clean racing• Fixed competitive format• Season-long championship points• Live broadcast race nights• Community-driven competition

We’re building this like everything else at SMASH HQ — intentional, competitive, and structured from the ground up.

Why We’re Doing This

Public races are great.

But consistency builds rivalries.

Rivalries build storylines.

Storylines build competition.

The SMASH Series of Horsepower is about creating a league where drivers show up every week, compete under the same standards, and chase a real championship.

No chaos. No guessing. No politics.

Just racing.

Phase One Format

Season One will focus on a NASCAR-style stock car platform inside iRacing.

Initial structure will include:

• Fixed weekly race night• Fixed setup (skill > setup advantage)• Practice session• Qualifying session• Main event race• Points-based championship standings• Season champion

As participation grows, additional divisions and formats may follow.

Broadcast & Coverage

All races will be streamed live.

Standings, race results, highlights, and recap articles will be published directly on smashhq.gg and inside the SMASH Discord.

This will be a competitive league — but also a content engine.

Drivers won’t just race.

They’ll be part of something visible.

Who This Is For

This series is built for:

• iRacing drivers who want consistent weekly competition• NASCAR-style racers who value clean racecraft• Competitive drivers tired of random lobby chaos• SMASH HQ members looking to compete beyond Rust

If you want structure, competition, and accountability — this is for you.

What Happens Next

Right now, we’re gauging interest.

If the numbers are there, Season One registration will open with:

• Official schedule release• Car and track announcement• Championship points breakdown• Conduct and race standards• Entry details

If you’re interested, join the SMASH Discord and watch for announcements.

The green flag is coming.

And when it drops — it’s horsepower season.
